DREAMS COME TRUE IN MANALI

himalayaDreams come true in Manali

hoo hoo hooooo it was too cold. It was always my dream that how snows are looking like, how it will feel how it looks like during snow fall etc etc.Just heaven only this is the place in my india gives the feel like  heaven.I think anyone who is coming here ,never feel to go home back.

The journey starts immediately in my mind when i saw news that snow fall started in kullu manali. Then immideately i set up my mind let's go manali.I had already planned for mumbai already made tickets to mumbai. From mumbai i planned to go vapi, gujarat to visit my inlaws. But i  cancelled tickets to vapi.I searched tickets from mumbai to delhi. And from delhi we will take bus for manali .From south bangalore to manali a long distance,we had to cover. And i also planned to visit mumbai, delhi during my journey.i never want to spend my single time here and their so every
time i planned to visit any place. And mumbai, delhi and manali is totaly new for mithi.

The journey started in the month of january,2016.We had made our bags ready with clothes jackets caps camera and action starts. We had taken flight upto mumbai. As we had some time we never forgot to take a round in mumbai. The great TAJ hotel, india gate and the arabian sea.

From mumbai we took train to delhi. And my god delhi is also a very cold place during this winter season. Here temperature below 10 degree. It was approx 20 hour journey to delhi. So we took rest in a hotel as we have 6 to 7 hour gap to take bus to manali. After taking a good warm bath and food we left the hotel and went to the stop from where we supposed to take bus to our last stop manali.

The bus came 4 o'clock afternoon and delhi that afternoon 4 o'clock was so cold and it was looking like morning 7 o'clock.I had booked AC BUS.And thank you my friend,s suggesion that it wiil be very cold and AC busses will control the temperature and you will be very comfortable.Next day
we reached the awsome place of himalaya.WOW WOW WOW MY GOD we were already running the jig jag road of himalaya and everywhere the  peaks of the mountains with  white snows fallen on them.I cannot wait to take pics.immediately i took my mobile and took the snaps and feeling happy this the place i ever wanted to come.
Mithi was in sleeping mode as she always sleeping in bus travelling. She had no idea where he already reached that time.I called her to see the beauty.

Manali is a hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley,
at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,700 ft) in the Beas River Valley. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 km from the
state capital, Shimla.  The climate in Manali is very cold during winters, and moderately cool during summers. The temperatures range from 4 °C
to 26 °C  over the year. The average temperature during summer is between 04 °C to 26 °C and between -15 °C to 05 °C in the winter.
Manali is named after the Sanatan Hindu lawgiver Manu rishi. The name Manali is regarded as the derivative of 'Manu-Alaya' which literally means
'the abode of Manu'.

manali photos

I booked a hotel The New Adarsh near to mall road. Before booking the hotel i have checked everything by google map and read about the place and i found mall road is the perfect place.Mall road is the market place their and it is fully secured.Police is always their it is a perect tourist destinationwhen i opened my shoes beleive it i cannot stand a minute their.i jumped to the bed.I could feel the cheelant temperature.I was really so afriad ,that i was thinking about the warm temperature.I called for two tea.We took a warm bath and breakfast and went outside to take a look.

when we reached manali many peoples offered us for touring packages. But at last i got a person,a young man who offered me the package by his own car.We discussed and finalize our two day tour in manali. That day we planned to take a visit to kullu and second day rohtang paas. The cost of the package around 2500 rupees. So we started our journey to kullu. But before that we discussed about the river rafting and sky diving. So due to bad weather sky diving was closed. But river rafting was open .Sangu was so excited to do river rafting. And really if we wouldnot do then manali tour would be a simple tour.

river rafting photos

They are providing the dresses so that you will not be wet in water. One small local boy was controling the boat and he was taking our snaps and videos.Someone can take the full memory card by paying some extra money otherwise they will copy in a DVD.And it is somehow cheaper than the memory card. The himalayan water was so chilled .The surrounding of the river with green trees and cloudy weather gives manali the original natural beauty.

Sometime that boatman taking his boat to the depth that water is directly making us fully wet.My full body was totaly senseless. It was a 15 km rafting.Sometimes water is calm and silent and sometime it is violent.Atlast we have completed our 15 km rafting. It was realy adventurious.Everyone should do once in their life.

Then we went to the shops nearby and we have purchased some woolen clothes. As we had wet we had purchased some garments from that local shop. There was a dhakpo shedrupling  monestry in kullu district taht is related to budhism and it has inagurated by dalai lama in the year2005.Tibetian stylebulding is realy beautiful.Inside the tepmple there was a statue of Budh with full decorative manner.Tibetian peoples are leaving here as many of the tibetan peoples are staying in manali.
Very beautiful place to spend few hours.Big mountains are clearly visible and give the sense of natural beauty. And the pleasant silent calm environmentwas whispering me to seat some while and feel me.But life is fast we cannot wait .So we have started our journey to next destination NAGGAR CASTLE.

Naggar castle has built in 16th century. It had been used for residential and state head quarter purpose for the kings of the 16th century to 17th century.Hmmm not a bad place. This place made with wood and stones.Iron fixing is not there.Very beautiful place situated on the highest place of kullu.
Mountain with snow surrounding of the castle looking awesome .It has attracted film makers also. Many of the bollywood shootings captured the scenic view of the place.Movies like akad bakad bombay go,jab we met, naughty at 40,noori,barsat,indian and many more pictures has been shooted here. But follow the rules .Pay rupees 30 for entry fee each.Nearby one shop is there and we ate hot momos.Oh my god what a taste superrrrr....

And we did not forget Hidimba Devi. She the most adorable god in manali. So how we miss her.So at the end of the day we reached there at evening.due to low light we couldnot take good snaps as our all camera batteries drain out.We took blessings of maa hidimba devi. And we went to mall road from where we started our journey and our hotel is also in that place. We take a evening walk in mall road.Nice place as i told previously.Full of tourist, shops, variety of restaurants, everything is there. We had our dinner outside in a restaurant and went to the hotel.Next day we had planned to do some adventure and the most wanted place for which tourist are coming here, the snowwwww....

Next day morning we had to start our journey at 7'o clock. We took our bath, had our breakfast and start our journey to rohtang paas. This place is always a destination for tourist as it is the topmost place of manali and snow is always there .Before going there our guide told us to take some garments in rent ,that is good for that climate And ice sketting. So another sketting guide also joined us.We started our journey to the top most place .When we were riching top and top places we found ice was fallen on the road ,on the grass,on the trees on the houses. My god i couldnot stop myself to take photographs as the place with snows was looking very beautiful.

like icecreams fallen everywhere. But when time was spending the ice on the road start melting and vehicles were start sleeping on that road.So after a short discussion with guide wedidnot go to rohtang. But we had to do sketting so neraby another place is there they had taken us there and we found all the tourists are enjoying there only.We had done some fun ,throwing ice to each other, took snaps by wearing the traditional manali dresses, and the most important ice sketting. This was the second dream.we had fullfilled.Sketting is not a child play boss.It will take too much practice.Sangu enjoyed lot and fallen more and more.HA HA HA.and me ALSO.We have spend 2 to 3hours there.Another place was their called solang valley the roap way was there and it is also a great place for the tourists. We took roap way for the top most hills where toomuch ice was there. This is the first time of my life i had taken ride of roapway. It was going top top and top .We could see ice falling was goingon there on the top.We reached there. There is a restaurant and there is no time limit for you to spend there. You can enjoy food ,enjoy the hot tea with ice fall. Realy a beautiful place .

Beside this we end our day with two temples rishi vasishtha temple and ram mandir. These are the ancient temples situated here.A sacred place should not miss duringthe tour.Manali is the place like heaven if you have not ever seen the heaven. The splendid beauty, the friendly and cooperative people and their food like momos will no one can forget.I dont know when i will come next time but i will come  definately.
